Welcome to John Boykin Photography and Media Relations, an online space where I share photos and news from my oil field photography jobs. As an oil field and heavy equipment photographer I’ve traveled the country documenting the hard work of man and machine in oil fields and construction sites.

Oil field photography and construction photography vastly differ from a “normal” photographer’s work. I dig through the grime and grit and capture the beauty hidden beneath the industries that power our homes and cars and give jobs to the hardworking American middle class.
